Is it possible to establish a fund and name the fund in memory of a family member?

Yes.

May we designate our funds for specific projects?

Yes. Some donors may choose to earmark their funds for specific projects, such as helping Native American children. Others may decide to earmark funds for a geographic region such as Eastern North Carolina.

Who decides how the money is spent?

The Board of Directors has the responsibility for making decisions on which projects to fund. The Board is obligated to fulfill our mission statement for helping needy children.

How do we identify an attorney who can help us carry out our plans for helping children?

The Rye Foundation works with Christian attorneys across the state, and is always pleased to help donors find a trained professional in their geographic area.
