Friends and supporters are able to experience the “joy of giving” by becoming actively involved in the faith-based philanthropy of the Rye Foundation.
Financial supporters are an integral part of the Foundation’s mission, which is to “make a life-changing impact on North Carolina children.” Most contributors share two common beliefs. First, that their donations to help needy children are actually investments. Second, that God has a special plan for every boy and girl served by the Foundation through its statewide projects.
To this end, leaders of the Foundation have identified these priorities: Christian camps, music enrichment, sports and character-building, and children of prisoners.
Here are 5 ways to join the team:
- Make a gift of cash.
- Make a gift of stock. (The Rye Foundation has its own account for stock transactions, and has experience in handling electronic transfers.)
- “Leave a legacy” by including the Foundation in your last will and testament.
- Establish a family fund.
- Take advantage of a “named gift opportunity” and place the name of a family member on a building or special fund.
Philanthropic gifts are always handled in a professional and confidential manner. For more information, please contact Warren Steen at 336.760.2260.
